My name is Zoran Harrison, and I’m an American truck driver—flatbedder, hot shotter, and founder of 3D Safe Solutions. SwitchMate Series wasn’t born in a boardroom—it was born out on the road, mile after mile, with my co-pilot Izzy (my mini Australian Shepherd) by my side.     Early on, I discovered a problem many drivers with pets know all too well. While hot shotting, Izzy would accidentally roll windows down or unlock the truck. Modern power switches are sensitive and perfectly placed for paws. One step, and a minor accident can become a serious issue—pets escaping, trucks left unlocked, weather damage, or theft.

    I searched for a solution like any driver would—hours on Google—but found nothing. That’s when I realized if it didn’t exist, I’d make it myself. I was just learning 3D printing and design, and one late night turned into a light-bulb moment. By morning, I had prototypes ready to test.

    I tested my designs on the road. The half SwitchMate Series worked until Izzy figured out how to slide it—so I went back to the drawing board and created the full SwitchMate Series, solving the problem entirely.

    As a company driver, I knew it had to be company-friendly—no double-sided tape, no duct tape, no drilling, and no modifications. Zero footprint was my goal, so any company would approve it without hesitation.

    Once I started sharing my design in driver groups, I realized how widespread this issue was. I gave away so many SwitchMate Seriess, it never crossed my mind to start a business—until demand made it clear.
